I am trying to create a tutorial in storyline. I have inserted pictures that show up on the timeline and in the scene but then do not show up in the slide preview.
There appears to be some strangeness going on here...
I would start by opening a new .story file, and then trying to import everything (using Insert > New Slide > Import).
See if that makes any difference.
There's some redundant code too - for example, on your first slide you might want to set the Triggers on the Button rather than on the text boxes, and then get rid of the Text Box triggers, (as they might click to the side of them).
However...I get issues with the images too, so I would start by trying a re-import, and if not - try deleting and re-inserting them.
Thanks for the advice. I also figured out that I wasn't placing the images correctly as some I cut and paste from a power point. I am now saving the images to a file and then importing them to the slide which will be cleaner. I will look at the trigger as well. I did not realize I had that associated with the text box.

Ah!
That might be what's causing it to behave strangely.

Hi Sharon, and a warm welcome to the Heroes forum.
Are you able to attach a copy of the .story file here, (using the paperclip), so that we can have a look?
Once again - welcome to the best forum around.

Best to save and do a clean import.
