Newbie here with a question
Nov 29, 2018
I have just started with Storyline and creating my first learning module for a client. My writer would like to have the learner type in a response on one slide and when they click to the next slide have the responses appear next to some graphics on the second slide. So I was thinking I can use a Text Entry box on the first slide when they can enter their words, but is there a way to save that entry and have it appear on the next slide? I don't know where to go from here... sorry trial by fire right now...

This can be done with a textentry box (which by default has a variable attached, that stores the entered text) on the first slide and a textblock with a reference to the variable on the second slide. See attached a quick example.
Oh thank you soooo much! Exactly what I needed!
