Offline solution
May 03, 2018
Hi everyone,
Was wondering if anyone may be able to help? My company currently has a compliance module available, we have tried to make it somewhat more interactive than our other modules. Being that the learner can explore each slide by clicking different areas, nothing drastic. A very small minority of learners are complaining that they find this more difficult to read and would like an 'easier to read' version with 'less interactivity'. As it's a such a small number of people who have asked for this, is there any quick solution we can provide to them? The problem is we use a number of states and layers to reveal content and I am aware publishing to word does not show these states. I also wouldn't say publishing to word makes it any easier to read, just I guess more traditional way of reading. I am not really sure what I can offer as a quick solution. Any ideas I am very grateful for.
Kind regards,
Narissa

You could put the text content into the notes section and enable the notes
on the player. This would allow people to go to the notes and consume the
content that way.
Thanks for responding, would this be in a word version?
Tom - just a passing kudos for all of your work on the Forum and all of the other areas where you work your magic. Good to see your name pop-up again.
@Narissa: I'd put all of the text content in the notes panel for those who want to read it and not go through the interaction. It would look something like this.

The other option is to rethink your interactions to see if they are superfluous.
@David: thanks for the feedback. I usually scan through the posts and comments everyday, but have been making more of an effort to offer some help. The challenge is that each one creates an exponential increase in inbox activity for me and I'm not always able to get back to the responses in a timely manner.

Is there a detailed description of "easier to read?" so it could be that exploration of content is to difficult for e. g. learning beginners. Maybe you can offer an exposition of your content? So that content is displayed nugget by nugget automatically?
