Open to suggestions

Jul 09, 2019

Hi All,  I'm working through a simple self-assessment and I'm finding a few challenges:

-Showing slide feedback for longer than 1-2 seconds.

-Showing results in total points vs. a percent (I've used a quiz results slide even though everything was built in survey slides.  Maybe this is the issue).

*Bonus points for anyone who can help me find a way to add the points on each page for a better user experience.

Thanks all-  I must have been looking at the file too long.  The first issue is fixed now.  I'm still looking for suggestions on the other 2 items below.

Hi Danielle, the survey questions do not calculate points or a percentage. The logic works this way because there are no right or wrong answers in a survey question.

In order to do this, you are going to have to use triggers and variables to assign a point value to each of the radio buttons for each question and then create more triggers and variables to add up the point values.

Unfortunately, the survey question form does not allow you to do this. You are going to have to manually build the Likert questions and add in the logic.

Here is a post that might help you out with this: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/building-likert-scale-that-tallys-up-responses
