I'm currently building my first course and I guess I got a little caught up in the possibilities with slide layers and find that I've built up too many layers for one slide... I'd like to be able to use the work that I've done already to make those layers into individual slides, but I'm not sure how. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi Teresa. Welcome to Storyline and to E-Learning Heroes! I think we've all been in your shoes with one Storyline feature or another. (I recall going a little crazy with layers, too!)
While there isn't really an easy way to turn your layers into individual slides, you can insert your new blank slides and then copy the layer objects (buttons, images, etc.) and paste them into each new slide. Copying over the layer objects should also copy over any object triggers—but you'll still need to go in and update those triggers to work for your new design.
