Play partial YouTube video?
Nov 29, 2011
Hi all,
I really enjoy the discussion here, along with the many tips 'n tricks. Need your help with an obstacle I ran across today....
I am working on an Articulate project where I have embedded several youtube videos in my slides. However, I do not want the entire duration of the video to play. I'm hoping to find a way so only part of each video plays, then advances to the next slide at predetermined points.
Any ideas on how to play a partial video from YouTube (or elsewhere)? Thanks in advance for any advice you might have.
Joe

Hi Joseph,
Check out this Screenr by David Fair on jumping to a specific time in a YouTube video.
If that doesn't help, please let us know!

David, thank you for the fast reply! This helps a great deal. Hopefully Google will soon add an END parameter to youtube, which would make my life SO MUCH easier.
Another possibility is to down load the video, edit it and republish
Hello,
You can use Clip Nabber to download the video, then import and edit in Articulate's Video Encoder.
This is basically what Eamonn has said.....but with a bit more direction.
Good luck!
