Possibility of using a voice changer for narration?

May 29, 2020

Hi everyone,

This is not a question about Articulate specifically, but I figured this community might have looked into this and have some resources.

We do a lot of videos with narration, and would be interested in finding a program/add-on that could change the voice (tone, accent, pitch, etc.)

This means that the same narrator could potentially sound like a different person for every video.

Preliminary searches bring up apps for skype phone calls and the like, but we are wondering if there is a good option that can be used for proper business videos/narration with Articulate?

Hope this was clear, thanks in advance for your help/thoughts  :)

We use Audacity (free or the Pro) plus other voice software to achieve this. Try Audacity first - use, tempo, speed, pitch and base changes and listen and revise. I have also found that if I take the Storyline text to speech mp3 file into Audacity and then just resave that same file without any changes the voice improves. If I want to do more, then I do the adjustments as stated above. If you come across anything that can incorporate voice fluxuations for the text to speech, please share that. Good luck.
