Powerpoint 13
Oct 12, 2014
Can anyone give me some guidance or direction on how to customize slides advancing in power point 13. I am OK with setting up Hyperlinks though I need to ensure that the slide will only advance via the hyperlink to the desired slide and that the slide cant advance to the next slide by the mouse click.
I have unchecked the move to slide by taking the tick out of the box in the slide transition box, though this also shut down the animations that have been set up.
Appreciate any assistance
Regards
Peter

Hi Peter,
Assuming that you're using PowerPoint with Articulate Studio '13, open your Slide Properties window from the Articulate Tab. From there, you can set each slide to "Advance By User." This will only let the slide advance to the next slide when the users takes action.
Let me know if that helps!

Thanks Tim, at this stage I am using Power Point 13 in its native environment and not in any Articulate projects, from what I have currently experienced it seems that the project will have to run with advancing slides by the designated hyperlinks as well as by mouse click on completion of the slide. Not what I wanted but I haven't identified any methods of overcoming this in PowerPoint 13.
Again thanks for your help.
Peter
Hey Peter,
Have you tried unchecking the Mouse Click option in Transitions Tab. Should work.
