It might depend on the animation included. A basic PowerPoint template shouldn't matter when it's just graphics. Here is a list of the specific animations supported by Articulate Studio (this is different if you're talking about Storyline). I didn't explore very far so maybe someone will know this off the top of their heads, but I believe a lot of those template sites use flash animations and I'm not sure how that works when published through Articulate. Is that what you're trying to find out?
