I am creating a slide which has a question and I have provided a "Text Entry" box for the learners to provide their answers. Note: It does not have a right or wrong answer. Below are my two queries.
How do i make sure that they don't type ABC/or random alphabets to move next?
Is there a possibility to print what they have written? Given that this is not part of a question/assessment. Help!!!
I'm not sure you can stop them typing garbage in to the field to move next if you aren't checking for accuracy.
You can add a print screen command using Javascript (example for SL360 attached). Alternatively if your learners are on their PC you can just ask them to print using the browsers print function (via the Menu or by pressing Ctrl + P on their keyboard).

Hi Ishita,
Thank you so much David! This makes sense. I will discuss both of these options with my client and see which one they would want.
No problem!
Hi David,
Is it possible to set Javascript to print only the text within a freeform essay question (not the actual screen)?
Thank you!
Zanel
