I am getting unnecessary width added to storyline slides. Despite removing the sidebar, the Player width is much wider than it needs to be. In Player options, I have tried all combinations of scaling the player to fill browser and locking at optimal size. Nothing seems to change it. Any ideas here. Screen shot:
I will try that. I'm also trying to understand what's driving it because in another deck which uses the sameĀ template, I am not seeing this. So it seems to be some option or combination of options that is selected. Also, for your suggestion, I would like to maintain the controls (prev/next/seekbar) butĀ in the link you suggested, I'm to turn all those off.
That would not help the shrinkage of the central image nor the over all container size. But I was able to solve the problem.
On a single slide, I had the menu set to show but in the global settings for the player I had specified to show it. This created a layout anomaly on the whole deck.

If you just want to get rid of the grey follow Step 2 and make the border transparent.
