Dec 04, 2019

Hi guys,

I encountered the following problem in Microsoft Edge: there is a lot of empty space when using popup windows. Does anybody faced with similar situation? What could be the problem? Please, advice

I came across this problem last year and unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it (and I don't think there is an Articulate fix for it).  It's a problem with the scroll panel, not lightbox popups.  From what I can remember its something to do with how Edge reads and implements the code as basically it looks at how big your text box is and then for some reason it duplicates the same size box below the content but with no content in.

I think someone did provide a more detailed reasoning behind this but I can't remember what it is.  The only possible workaround would be to create smaller text boxes.  So for example if you have 10 lines of text in a text box you could break it up into 5 boxes with 2 lines in each.  I think Edge would still put some white spaces in but not as much.

I never got round to trying that workaround as I just scraped the scroll panels completely and did it another way so I can't confirm if it works or not, sorry.
