I've been trying to get progress bars to show the previous quiz slides outcome - red or green for incorrect or correct but never manage to get it working (in Storyline 2)
So if the learner gets the question correct it makes one progress bar (there are 6 for the individual quiz slides) green, and incorrect red. But the course always forgets the previous colour.
A nicely designed game you have there! Actually no, it doesn't help. I've managed to change the colour of the progress bar to red or green based on correct or incorrect answer, but when the next quiz question appears, it doesn't recognise the previous answer status, even though I'm using a variable and trigger.
It seems to be something to do with having the status of the previous question triggered at the start of the timeline but I can't get it working.
That doesn't work quite how I mean. You have a progress bar made up of 6 different 'parts' and if you get a question wrong, one bar goes red. You move onto the next question and if you get it right, it goes green. But the course remembers the previous incorrect or correct answers.
My attempt doesn't show the historical incorrect or correct answers properly.

Hi Nick,
If you use variables to keep the user's score and triggers to change the color of the bars, it can solve your problem. Here you can see an example; http://ukla.com.tr/download/games/Vegetables/story.html
I created a score variable for the correct answers. When they are chosen, it adds 1 point to the score and bar changes according to the it.
I hope it helps.

I thought it could be solved by the help of a score variable. Can you share the story file?
Here you can download an e-learning quiz template in which I used a progress bar changes according to the score; http://rsdesign.s3.amazonaws.com/Week_3__53Freebies.story

Hi Nick,
Have you solved the problem? I have worked on it a little, and I think, this time, we will solve the problem with this template :)
You will see the bars and triggers for them on Slide Master and Feedback Master.
This certainly looks like it could be adapted to work. I'll take a look a bit later. Thanks for your efforts!
