I need to replicate this years version of a course a college created who is no longer with our company so I don't have access to his .story file.
He has a timer (00:03 / 14:26) looks like that and counts down the time remaing in the course. It is located directly next to the title of the course. I am attaching a screenshot.
Rebuilding without the .story file? That sounds like a lot of work - luckily the thing you're looking for is really easy to add! you'll need to include a results slide and enabled the timer there. You can read about it here.
Luckily it was a silly VO PPT, so it wasn't bad at all. Super thankful for that.
I did read that article yesterday before I posed the question, read it again after you sent the link and I am pretty familiar with result slides...... BUT I don't understand how that will put a timer on the top of the player. I just can not seem to make the connection. I even added an element to the Tobbar Right via the Player Properties window.
Any additional insight on connecting the results slide with a timer on the player. I have a serious disconnect. ( I did add the results slide, enabled the timer.....and
I'm not sure if part of your reply got cut off here, but when you enable the timer on the results slide you have the option to set it to appear on the first slide, and show remaining out of total. That's what will make it appear on your player. You'll only see it when you preview or view the published output. If you're not seeing it, we may need to take a look at your .story file - which you are welcome to share here using the "add attachment" button but you can also send it along privately by uploading here to our Support Engineers.

OH!
Some of my reply did get cut off, strange.
BUT you are FABULOUS!! has anyone told you that today?
I misinterpreted that drop down I assumed first slide in an Assessment for some reason. However it makes total sense now!
I appreciate your help!
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Sherrie
You know what, no one has told me that today - so I appreciate it immensely Sherrie!
I hope you have a great rest of your day now, as I know I will!
