Publish to web. Possible to get statistics?

May 07, 2020

Hi,

hope you are well out there!
I have a customer who wants to buy one of our courses. They do not have a LMS but would like to publish the training on their server.
They would like to know if its possible to see who has taken the course. I have looked through the tutorials, but couldn´t find this information.
It says its not possible to track performance, but is it possible to see who has taken, and finished, the course?

The LMS allows one to ascertain the user, deliver the course, and track the user's movement through it. Without a formal system, you'd have to use something like a form where you can collect the user info at the beginning and then maybe a form where you can collect user info at the end. The form data would be sent to the spreadsheet or database. With some programming chops, you could make it more sophisticated.

Here's a blog post where I dealt with this for a user who didn't have an LMS.
