Hi Gail, does your client mean HTML5? If so, yes, Storyline does publish HTML5 content. Is your client asking because they want to give learners the opportunity to view your courses on an iPad? Here's a good page to review if you're planning on publishing mobile content.
The client is looking to incorporate Storyline learning modules into another system and are wondering if HTML is an option when uploading content. They expect users will access on a computer vs. other devices.
Ah okay. When you say they are incorporating the modules into another system, do they mean a learning management system (LMS)(i.e., a system that allows them to host and track their courses)? If so, as long as the LMS is SCORM- or AICC-compliant, you should be fine. You can also host the published content on a web server (internal or external). In either case, Storyline output consists of primarily flash files and an html file that launches the course.
