Pull-down menu
Sep 23, 2016
Hi, all!
I was playing with another version of the menu that comes down from the top. This one uses a slider that resides in a Master slide - but in a layer. Menu is actually the whole slider. When you drag the slider down, everything starts to fade, so you slowly transition into "menu mode".
There is a downside, though, so keep this in mind if you want to use it: if you have any other layers on your slide, those layers will open over the menu layer. So be careful. (I have solution for this - a bit different version of the menu for a later time).
Source attached. Dig around. :)

Cool menu, Nejc! Thanks for sharing the source file.
We have a couple of e-learning challenges where your example would be appreciated. Would you mind sharing the link to this discussion in the following challenges?

This was cool.
Looks great Nejc! Thanks for sharing.
I am a little new to Storyline, but I can't seem to find out where in the source file you actually set up the pull-down slider menu. Would someone be willing to point me in the right direction on where to look? I only see "Untitled Slide" under "Slide Layers."
Hi Ty,
You can find the slide masters by selecting View on the ribbon, then slide masters.
