Does anyone know an easy way to add a pulsing animation to an object. It's so simple in PowerPoint and I just can't seem to figure it out in Articulate.
Oh my! I have a lot of objects my stakeholder wants me to add pulse too. That's a lot of animation! I hope Articulate comes up with something easier in the future. Thank you!
I'm using your solution on a play button on a video. Prior to adding the fade animations and triggers, there was a trigger to change the state of the button to hidden when clicked, so that it was not covering the video.
Once I added the fade animations and the two triggers, the play button keeps pulsing even after it is clicked. I tried incorporating a third (custom) state called Transparent that was 100% transparent, but that did not seem to work either.
Do you have a trick to make it unseen when it is clicked?
This is a drawback of the method as hiding fires the exit so it comes back. One way to do this for one or two objects is to show a layer and on the timeline of the layer hit the down arrow to hide selective objects on the base layer and deselect your object

I figured out a way using the timeline. Would be good to consider pulsing animation in a future release. Thank you.
That's a great idea, Anthony! Would you be up for logging a feature request? Here's the link: https://articulate.com/support/contact/feature-request
Hi Anthony,
Would you mind sharing your solution to the pulsing animation?
Thanks
Anthony, what did you figure out?
Use an exit and entrance fade, then two trigger one to change to hidden when entrance completes and other to change to normal when exit completes

once you have the triggers you can copy and paste onto any objects just add the animations first.
Thanks Phil, I saw that solution elsewhere and it works great. I was wondering if Anthony had figured something else out.
Cheers
