Punnet Square Calculator Game

Trying to create a drag and drop of a Punnett Square to make into a game.

What I'm trying to do.

Demonstration Portion

A variety of Alien Geneotypes will display along side and player can drag and drop different Aliens on top of the bed.

Step 1 - Drag and drop the two aliens on top of the bed.  Barry White song plays short intro.

Step 2 - Punnett Square pops up over bed (Privacy).  Values of the two aliens are filled in at top and left.

Step 3 -  A Random Generator Script will play for each value (WXYZ).  Numeric values will populate  and each score will reflect a link to the corresponding image file and populate the corresponding (WXYZ) below.

(Blue/Purple Aliens) - blue folder of images

(Yellow/Green) - yellow folder of images

Formula

BB = 4 (Blue Alien or Yellow)

Bb = 3 (Purple Alien or Lime)

bb = 2 (Red or Green Alien = Infected with Virus)

Quiz Portion

Step 1 - Drag and drop the two aliens on top of the bed.  Barry White song plays short intro.

Step 2 - Punnett Square pops up over bed (Privacy).  Values of the two aliens are filled in at top and left.

Step 3 - Player enters the correct values.  If they are correct the spots below fill in with the appropriate values and fills that spot with the appropriate Alien.  If not correct, RED X and buzzer sound.

Step 4 - Player plays until all the Aliens are filled in.

BB = 4 (Blue Alien)

Bb = 3 (Purple Alien)

bb = 2 (Red Alien = Infected with Virus)

If X = 4 then

If X = 3 then

If X = 2 then

punnett square

 Would greatly appreciate how I can write this script and develop in Storyline 2.

Hi Frank- Cool interaction!

  • You need to create a series of conditional triggers that navigate to resulting slides, that narrows your options.
  • Give every condition a variable : True or False , or 0 or 1.
  • Then used slide states based on those conditions when dragged.

Another Tip: I would suggest asking the community for the 1st step.  This is a bigger application request and you may do better getting a solution here if the question was targeted, then build from that answer.
