I try to adjust variable in my course but i Don't know how to do this.
i want that When you click on the magnifying glass to go to explanations, the picture becomes a magnifying glass with check Inside after when you come back in the menu.
I Don't know if my request is clear, but i hope so !

Hi Tracy, here is how to set up your slide with the variable.
1. Add a custom state to your magnifying glass image - this state should include the check that you want to display after the user returns to the menu.
2. Create a true/false variable and set the default value to false.
3. On the slide that contains the magnifying glass add a trigger that says Adjust the variable to true when the user clicks the magnifying glass. Make sure this trigger comes before the trigger that shows the explanation slide or layer.
4. Also on the slide with the magnifying glass add a trigger that says change the state of the magnifying glass to the custom state when the timeline starts if the variable is equal to true.
Hello !
Thanks a lot !!
It works for one magnifying glass ! But, i think Something is wrong with my variable because the second magnifying glass is activated when i select the first magnigying glass.
I have to create an other variable for the second magnifying glass ?
Yes, each magnifying glass would need it's own variable.
Another way to do this would be to just use a state change and not use a variable at all.
On each magnifying glass image, include a "visited" or "clicked" state that has your image with the check inside.
On Click:
Be sure the state change happens first before you navigate away from the slide or it won't actually trigger.
The problem with using the visited state is the the check appears as soon as you click the object.
Yes, each magnifying glass needs a unique variable.
