Quiz Results - what do you do?

Sep 13, 2019

I love working with Articulate, and am always looking for ways to implement it, at any phase of work that is possible.  Of course, this means that I run into limitations.  My current issue has to do with quiz results, and it hits in two different ways.  The first is that our LSO does not currently allow us to collect statistics on quiz results, like how many people got question x wrong.  This information would really help us to improve our courses, but our current system doesn't allow for it...I'm told that it's a requirement in the new system, which is at least two years away.  So for now, we either go without the information, or make the quizzes 100%-must, so they need to get every question right.  They can retake the quiz, and are taken to the appropriate section for questions they get wrong.

Problem number two is that we have employees who do not have user accounts in our system...we have a lot of employees through a staffing agency that technically don't work directly for us, yet they still need the same training.  We can confirm them in our LSO for hands-on courses, but there is no way to give them each accounts to take online courses.  I can set up an Articulate course, and give them a machine to take the course from, but then my problem again comes down to quiz results...how do I get them in this instance?  These courses would not be connected to our LSO, and the user would have no company account.

We do this with certain courses that need to go to people outside of the building, and just ask that the they "Print Results" at the end, and bring the printout.  This works great for them, but internally, we have no local printer in the training room.  Most of the users are not very computer-savvy, so asking them to save a PDF printout, or do a screenshot or something isn't really viable.  I know there is no option to email results, but what does everyone else do in these situations?  Is there another way to record that a user completed a course, outside of an LSO and Articulate Online?
