Results really depend on how you set up your quizzes in Storyline. If you want to set up an auto fail question, I suggest adding graded results slide. You can define whether the overall result will be taken on a certain quiz or a cumulative score by combining other result slides.
In calculating the final score, you can define the passing score by either through your learners passing all the quiz or by combining points from other quizzes then entering a percentage in the passing score. You might want to check this article for more information.
