Quizmaker - Hotspot Thoughts...
Jun 30, 2011
Hi,
I was just poking about the web, and for some reason thought of this in terms of Hotspots.
We always use them for graphics selection, but it occurred to me that they could also be used very effectively with text.
People are always asking "How do I make compliance courses more interesting?" - here's one way that could easily be made to apply to different scenarios.

You could also build the letter up,, adding more and more, (or perhaps a contract of employment, of a letter firing someone?), and keep on getting things wrong, with the "On Fail" comment being a strong learning point.
I'm probably about 5 years behind the curve here, and you guys out there have been doing this forever, but I've never seen it. so I thought I'd share.

Good approach Bruce and thanks for sharing. Yes, others have used this but a reminder or refresher is never a bad thing. Good stuff!
Thanks, Bruce. This certainly is a good approach. When I tried to play around with the file and got the answer wrong, then I clicked Review Quiz, the hotspot remained unmovable from my first answer. Do you know if this is a problem that occurs often?
Sorry - no idea!
Probably a function that I need to set somewhere...I only spent about 2 minutes creating it, I am sure it is something that can be sorted.
