I just downloaded :desktop folder" quiz maker template from the downloads section.
Just to see how it comes out I made a true and false type question, and I previewed it. In the preview it did not have the yellow clipboard on the left and the two sticky pads on the right?
I thought the question will be inserted in the left and the two sticky notes on the right would be true and false options.
There are accessories, desktop note paper wood when I unzip the folder.
Do I have to open quiz maker first and then add these by selecting media or should I click the desktop which is an articulate file and it will open quiz maker and then add the rest of the png files.?
Either way will work, I guess it depends if the Quiz is a stand alone quiz or part of a course. In the latter you would have the PPT open, select the Articulate tab, select Quizmaker Quiz/Quizmaker Quizzes/Add Existing and locate the Desktop quiz to add to the course.
Scott thanks for the tips. i was able to get those images. Now I have a new problem, I made a true/false type question. Went to slide view it open with the question and true or false choice on a white background. I get the desktop png file and send it back and now the text is on top pf the desk image. Now I insert note pad and place the question on top of the notepad. everything is fine until now. The problem is when I get 2 small sticky notes 1 for each option true or false. The true false option move together, I can't get true test to paste on top of 1 sticky note and the false text on top of the other stick note.

You should be able to move the True and False options separately. You will not be able to move them outside of the dash-lined place holder, though. So, you may need to change the size of the answer choices so you have some more flexibility in moving them around.
The level to which the slide masters in quizmaker are helpful is very limited.
I do a lot of question duplication action. Then all the images that you need are set on the slide. Once you enter the text in it will get all displaced, but then it's just a matter of doing what Ron said: make the boxes smaller and move things around.
One of the problems you might be having is that when you move things around they like to "snap to grid," which disables you from putting objects exactly where you want them. To fix this, from the home menu go to the arrange menu, go to align, and then select "grid settings." Uncheck "snap objects to grid" and "snap objects to other objects" and change your spacing to 2px.

Hi Sid,
When you extract the zip file, there will be graphics in that folder.
You'll want to add them by selecting Media/Picture/Note (or graphic of your choice).
Switch to Slide View to re-position things as you need.
There's also some good tutorials for the quizzes available, I have checked them out myself.

Hi Sid. I would create a Multiple Choice question. Go to Slide View and then click Insert -> Add Choice. Here's a screencast outlining how to do this:

One other thing to check is the layers of these objects. Go to Slide View, click the double-arrows at the bottom right to see the timeline and layers.
