Recommendations Needed

Hi All! Hoping I can pick all of your brains for recommendations. I am looking for additional solutions to developing courses. We are looking to create short videos where we can record audio, add explanation, etc. Unfortunately we can't use Screenr due to my companies Java policy. We have used GoTo Webinar but that has limitations. Looking into Brainshark, but would love to get other ideas as to what people are using!
Thanks in advance!

The classic, and still one of the best, is Camtasia.
A budget solution (and limits to go with that) is SnagIt's video capture.
For screencast videos, maybe Camtasia would work? Storyline can do those recordings, but it may be overkill if all you're doing is short videos.
I agree with Bob and Christy that Camtasia is a great tool.
You could also look at using Articulate Replay.
Camtasia is pretty much the go-to tool here. If you don't have access to that I'd go with Replay, which is easier to use, but not as rich as functionality.
Thanks everyone. Camtasia seems like a great tool - thanks for the info!
Camtasia is a really good tool but requires purchase, but if you have Articulate Storyline 2 then you get Replay with it and its a really easy and useful tool. You can find other helpful stuff at YourSkillsHub.com . Hope that helps!
Camtasia is a good tool and easy to learn and use. Also, it makes mp4 files, which drop straight into Storyline like a dream. Camtasia can also loop short videos if you want, which is useful.
