Many thanks for your help, the only problem is my current course contains about 60 variables with many scenarios and branches, so it will be more better if i can reset all of them at once.
The only other way (which may indeed be quicker) is to reset them using a JS trigger OR restart a course that never resumes (which I am pretty sure is not what you want).
In order to do the former just insert a JS trigger, create the same amount (and type) of variables (for example by using var x=True) then use SetVar to overwrite the existing variables. It will be about 125(ish)lines of code, but it will be faster.
Just one more quick note I forgot to mention earlier. By using a single JS trigger, you are also effectively ruling out the use of Articulate Mobile Player on iPad's. So this is essentially a Flash/HTML5 solution only.

Hi Amr,
You can do that using triggers in that slide/scene in the form of 'adjust variable x when timeline of slide starts'.
Hope this helps,
Alex

Many thanks Alexandros, I think Java Script will be a nice solution. I'll start with it
