Reset Pick Many to Original State More than One Attempt

Dec 03, 2015

I have a a pick many interaction. When an object is selected it changes states. I want the learner to have more than one attempt. I used this tutorial as a guide but it was a no go for my pick many interaction. Any other suggestions?

I do want the learner to be able to come back and the initial state (normal) to be displayed. When you come back to it the selected state remains. Also, when I customized the Try Again layer, after clicking submit, the Try Again layer would never show up. I have never had that happen before. New one for me.

Could someone list the steps needed to "reset" a pick many question that has already been view, answered and submitted, to be "tried again" if they fail the quiz the first time through.

Upon retry in my course the variable does not "reset" and it will not allow the learner to retake the question (the pop-up appears saying they have picked too many choices as soon as the learner tries to pick any, not allowing the learner to make any choices).
