Reset to initial, resume saved, specific situations to use both on same slides.

I want to use "resume saved state" on some occasions and "reset" on other. I know there is option "prompt" user, but I don't want user to decide it but to make a decision "under the hood". 

Solution for my problem would be a trigger "jump to slide" with an option "resume" or "reset" attached to it. Unfortunately that's not the way articulate can do it. Is there any other way?
