Rollover (Hover) Indicator
Jun 04, 2013
Many of our learners are used to 'click and read' and now using Storyline, we are incorporating more interactive aspects on slides. Use of the 'hover' option on objects works well using layers and is well received. However, I'm looking for ideas that might help the user identify that they should 'mouse over' or 'roll over' the object for more information vs. always placing instructions to do so. Something a little more sublte than say a marker. Just needing a creative jump start.

What if you highlighted them with a color around them or a deep shadow. One of the main tricks to this is letting them know early on how to identify those items. You might also want to give them a counter to let them know they haven't found all the items on the page that have additional information.
