SCORM files - ability to see how many students clicked on a hyperlink

Hello!

Is there a way I can track how many students clicked on a hyperlink in a SCORM file to view a PDF document or an external website? We are trying to report on whether or not students are viewing documents we hyperlink to in order to see whether we should continue doing this in the future, or whether we should rather have the PDF document and any external websites located separately on the LMS.
