Seeking Instructional Designer(s) - Australian Educator

Aug 06, 2012

We are a Registered Training Organisation in Australia.

We need assistance to rapidly produce some elearning courses for courses that we currently offer using selfpaced workbooks or are delivered in a classroom. If you are interested in assisting our organisation please PM me. We would like these created in Storyline and at this stage we will deploy them using moodle.

Our industry is heavily regulated so a quality product is required. Our courses are large and will take a significant amout of time to produce quality elearning courses so we are looking for long term partners rather than just a once off week long project.

There are two course areas we like developed and we may want one designer for each area. One course is built around training trainers how to train and consists initially of 10 subjects. We have this currently available as a self paced workbook and we need to convert to an interesting elearning course. This is not all that simple as the content is a little dull Intially we would like someone to develop a single subject and all going well we can then move towards rolling out the other 9 subjects.

The other course area are computer skills related courses and working with in the information technology sector. This consists of over 30 subjects in total from very simple area's like navigating the windows desktop through to more complex MS excel formuals and working with computer hardware. While we have a guilde for classroom delivery of these courses we are lookign to recreate the computer courses with new content. These courses will need to be apealing to wide target audience from highschoolers through to a mature audience. Again we have a single unit developed to confirm we are happy with the direction we are heading and then move forward with the very large task of the project management and development of these courses.

All of these courses and the subjects within these courses will have some mandatory components that must be included however there is room for flexibility and creativity in how this information is delivered. Due to the size of the project we would need you to be able to dedicate a minimum of 14 hours perweek to the project to be considered however additional hours may be available once the project is in full swing. We are looking for along term relationship with a quality designer(s).

If you think that you might be interested please contact me with any information you can provide.

Have a great week.

Stephen
