Showcasing a document

Jun 05, 2020

I have a module with lots of documents in which need explanation. To preview them on a slide is useless as they would be tiny. (some are 15 columns wide on Excel for example) The learner needs to see the document as a whole and then I need to be able to 'zoom' in on areas and add the necessary explanatory narrative in text or voiceover. Can anyone throw some ideas and examples my way??

Hi, Neve:

For this type of learning, I would insert links to the documents, so learners can see them in their entirety. Within the documents, I would place any explanation or details (in text) learners need to understand.

I wouldn't think voiceover would be necessary, especially as the essence of the material are written documents (sounds like). --Daniel

Thanks, I have inserted links to them aswell but thought it would be useful to expand on some of the important parts using a simple method of zoning in on those areas. There are so many , just linking to all of them has a risk of derailing the learning in the module so trying to keep it interesting whilst ensuring key document details are focussed on and explained.
