I was able to follow instructions from another post to build a personality assessment . A user will check boxes that are mapped to 3 personality types and a results slide will show how many boxes were clicked for each personality. I have used variables to track each personality type. I would now like my results slide to indicate a percentage instead of a number. ie you are 80% type 1, and 20% type 2. Can someone help me with this issue?
Can you share your .story file Jason and let us know which version of SL you are using. It's easier to offer a solution if we can see how the file is setup.
I am using SL 3. As you can see in the project below, I have the results slide showing a "count" for each personality. I also have a bar that measures each personality type. But I really want the results presented as a %
take a look at your updated file - I've only worked on the climber (and only when you get a result of 1 for the climber) and added two triggers to the result slide. I also added a percentage sign to your climber variable.
Jason Aulicino , How are your capturing your results?
I have built a similar e-Learing using AS3 and the result of my 4 communication styles display as %. (Probably not as elegant as what you came up with but it works.) I can attach the file.
My users are not especially tech savvy and are spread all across the city at all of the Credit Union branches. Any Ideas on how to capture the 4 results into the LMS?
We are using the CPD LMS offered by CUNA that is basically the SumTotal LMS.

Hi Jason

Hope this gets you started.
