Regarding Screenr: I understand your concern about confidentiality, and you're right, the standard Screenr screencasts do end up in the public stream and anyone can see them. Have you thought about Screenr Business? It offers a way to create private screencasts that only you can see. And just like with the regular Screenr, you can download the MP4s or embed them in your courses.

Another thing you might be interested to know is that we are nearing the end of the beta period for our brand-new authoring tool called Articulate Storyline, and it has an amazingly powerful screen-recording/simulation tool built right in.. You can sign up here if you'd like to be notified as soon as Storyline launches.

Screenr Business looks promising - do you have an idea of the pricing differences between Screenr and Storyline? The only reason I am asking now is we have a deadline for making a decision so I need to get as much information as possible before the end of January.

Here's the pricing structure for Screenr Biz, and although exact pricing info hasn't yet been announced for Storyline, we do know that it'll be priced in a similar ballpark as Articulate Studio, which you can find pricing for right here. The neat thing about Storyline is that it's a one-stop-shop, meaning that it contains all the tools for content development, quizzing, screen recording, and more... all in one package.
