I am trying to build a software simulation. I am very new to the software and brand new to this group. I would like to go to a submit page at the end of the timeline but have not been able to figure it out yet. Any help would be appreciated.
I am using Articulate Storyline. I am trying to teach mechanics how to navigate through the software screens in SAP. I would like a welcome page before they start and ending/congratulations page after the going through the screen recording. I have been researching after I posted this message and I think Gate Screens may work for the welcome but not sure how to let the last slide play before going to another gate screen.
There are a few options depending on what mode you're using. You can set the timeline of a slide to a specific duration. You can also add a button to prompt the user to "Continue" or click "Finished".
If you're in View Mode, Try Mode or Quiz Mode, the recording needs to end on a click. Even if it's just on white space and the user doesn't see it. The ending/congrats slide can be anything - slide, layer, lightbox, etc.
Are they watching the software or are they doing it themselves when they get to the end?

Hi Daniel,
Welcome to the E-Learning Heroes Community.
What exactly are you trying to build and are you using Articulate Storyline for it?
Could you give us an idea about what your software simulation is for?

Thank you so much. They will be doing it themselves. Is their a time limit or amount of slides you can use before the program starts to slow down?
I do software simulation myself and I have not found any slowdown with 200+ slides. However, compile and save times are obviously slower.
Also YMMV based on hardware specs.
