Sorting the users answers into groups
Apr 13, 2021
I have an interaction in Storyline that puts the user's answers into one of 3 buckets depending on their answer. I attached a screenshot of the variables as they are set up now and jpg of what the current results looks like and what I want it to look like. I Want the answers to show up right under each other in a list format. But right now I have it set where each answer has a specific area on the screen where it will appear when the value is determined. This means there are 3 areas set aside in which the answer for each question can show up. The problem is it leaves the lists looking haphazard. Any Ideas?

Hi, Kristen,
I've seen similar questions in the Forum before. The answer is JavaScript, which can easily sort lists. Well, it's easy when you know JS (which I don't).
If you do some searching on the Forum, you might be able to find a previous post with a JS example.
Thank you Judy, I tried searching earlier for any discussions but didn't locate any. Do youhave any suggestions on what keywords to use in my search? Thanks
I found this by searching "sort list with JavaScript":
