Sound Effects

I am currently creating a class on Safety/Worst Case Scenarios, and one thing that I want to incorporate into it is sound effects.
When talking about tornados, I want to include wind. When talking about fire, maybe the crackle sound that a fire makes, police sirens, gunshots, etc...
I just came across this site while searching for free sound effects
http://www.audiomicro.com/free-sound-effects
Enjoy!

I did a quick search on the Microsoft clipart website and found some samples you could use. Be sure to choose the "Sounds" option before searching so you only get the audio clips.
You might find more on other websites, but the Microsoft clips are all free to download and there's a nice selection.
If anyone else is looking for wind sfx...from gentle breezes to gale force and everything in between, there are a large number of them to be found at http://rocksuresoundz.com/store/weather/wind/ . Many other sfx on the site too of course.
Too much fun! But I have to get back to work.
www.freesfx.com is also a good source.
http://www.soundjay.com/ is ok too.
