I'm creating a Language Course with Storyline. I have created a quiz where the user will type the correct Spanish word, however some words in Spanish have accents; á Á, é, í, ó, ú. . . How can I create a variable or a shorcut combination of keys, such as
CTR + a = á
so when the user needs to type an accented vowel, they just use the shortcut?
The some of the typical keyboard shortcuts for common symbols work in Storyline and some do not. For instance, Alt+0151 for Em dash (—) and Alt+0150 for En dash (–) do not work in Storyline.
There is no way to customize them that I'm aware of. The text engine that Storyline uses is due for an overhaul and I would suggest submitting a feature request like Ashley said.

Hi Armand,
I just replied to your other post here.
