Howdy, Music City! I'm hoping to gauge interest in the creation of an Articulate Storyline meetup group here in beautiful Nashville, TN. The goal of this group is to bring together instructional designers, eLearning developers, and other interested parties for gatherings revolved around improving our skills, sharing best practices, and eating great food. Who is interested?!
Sorry for the delay! With the holiday season in full swing, I haven't been on eLearning Heroes as often over the last few weeks.
What ideas do you guys have for this group? What would you like the group to emphasize? Would you prefer a focus on networking with other developers, or a skill-honing type of group?
I had all sorts of big ideas when I proposed the group a few months ago, so I'm interested to see what ya'll think!
Hi there - I'm in Nashville/Franklin and work from home providing elearning clinical content/development. I would love to network, brainstorm, and support others. I'm in quite a few blogging Facebook groups that are super resourceful. Perhaps a Facebook group would be easy?
I'd love to see a group in Nashvegas! I'm part of a design team at a large company in Brentwood. Don't really have any particular preferences other than to continue to increase my skill with SL2. Looking forward to seeing what we can all do together!
A Facebook group seems like a great place to start. I will create one this week, and will post a link here when it's done. With the weather getting nicer, we should try to get together sometime this spring for a networking event. Are any of you active in the local ATD chapter?
I am new here and new to corporate instructional design. I work in Mt. Juliet. Would love to hear more about this product and to learn from you veterans!
I know it's been a while, but I found this thread and wondered if the Nashville user group ever started? I'd be interested in participating or help organizing.
Hi all! I just saw this after I posted a separate thread! The Nashville chapter of ATD is starting a Storyline user group! If any of you would like to join us, we'd love to have you. There is no charge for non-members to participate in the user group, all we ask is that you register so we know to expect you. Our first meeting is 5:30 pm, April 6th at Barista Parlor Germantown. Sign up here: https://astdmiddletennessee.wildapricot.org/event-2499468
Hi Paige! I know this is an old post, but reaching out anyway... I lead the ID/eLearning SIG for ATD Nashville and we'd love to have you participate in our meetings! We meet monthly and our next meeting is March 27th. You can register here.
We are also starting a Storyline user group on April 6th. That's on the Events calendar, too.

Hi Ryan,
I am also a instructional designer / developer in the Murfreesboro area. I would be interrested if you are still looking to start this group.
