Is it possible to slowly fade in an object that's also following a motion path on a mouseover event? I've tried adjusting the time of the fade and moving the object later in the timeline, but it just appears with a fade and skips the motion path. Thanks!
Have you tried adjusting the trigger on the motion path so it starts when the open animation completes? Here's what that looks like. I tried it out and it seemed to work on my end, but I'm not sure exactly what effect you're going for.
No, I need the object to fade in *while* it's following the motion path. Basically I want an enlarged version of an icon to fade in diagonally from where it is on a larger image, as the normal fade starts from the far right or left of the page, but I need it from a starting location of my choosing.

Let me know if that works for you! :)

I'm having a hard time imagining exactly what you're looking to do. Can you share your .story file or a screenshot so I can have a look?
Hi everyone,
I am following this post because I am curious about whether this is a possibility for one of my projects.
Nick- is this similar to what you were thinking of? If not, I am sorry to cause further confusion.
