I'm looking to create a custom Storyline progress bar. Can anyone share examples of eLearning courses they've seen that have custom progress bars and different styles, such as a filled-in pie chart for showing page or lesson completion.
I've decreased your baseline to 29 secs and it stops a 30sec so I guess that worked. Increase or decrease your baseline by 1 sec to get your timings. Regards.
I found the fake progress bar article which has an excellent and simple solution. I did notice that if you revisited a slide it counted the slide twice and you could quickly end up with an inaccurate indicator. I have made a few tweaks which I have attached for the community to use or tweak at will.
My notes taking feature is also included in this example, so double win! :D
I have successfully added a progress bar with % but how do you get it to restart per scene. Scene 1 of my project has 10 slides and at the end the learner gets to 100%. I would then like it to restart on scene 2, scene 3 etc.
We recently upgraded from SL2 to SL3 and want to incorporate a progress bar into our courses that will not take up much space or be distracting to the content. I am also interested in a beginner's level guide to creating the progress bar if anyone has one available...

Hi Chris,
You have used "A==Equal to (ignore case)" trigger in progress.story file. Why not use "Equal to"? What is the difference between the two?
Regards
Chetana
ignore case means you don't care if the user inputs
apple, APPLE, Apple or ApPle or any combination of
Thanks Wendy. But in here, there is no input needed. I believe here you are
just giving instructions. Isn't that so?

Chetana
Hi Chetana,
You can use both or any as long as the trigger is looking for the true
value.

Chris
Thanks Chris.
How about this ?

Easy to add or delete pages and no need to add extra trigger while adding pages or delete pages.

Hi Chris,
I have looked into your file. Seek bar look awesome. But can you please provide me more variation of seek bar.
Sinchu, do you mind sharing your source file so we can see how you did this?

The challenge is how to put in a zone that does not compete with the content of the slides.
In other words, make it repace the seekbar.
I wanted to update my previous question with a screen of the course that I am currently working on.
I've been doing some research on Custom Progress bars/meters, and beyond what's listed above, is here a beginner's level guide available?
Thanks in advance!

I'd be grateful for all suggestions

Hi Ruth
if you can share your .story file so people can see how you have it setup, someone can probably offer a suggestion for you.

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm contacting Articulate support today to see what I can find and/or access. If I come across anything, I'll post here!

What if I want to have a progress donut and percentage only on the Main Dashboard slide only?
The progress and percentage will be based on the total slides visited in the entire project. Thanks!
