Job Description

Talented HR professional needed to help assure the continuity and effectiveness of agency operations as senior employees transition out of the organization. This individual will be responsible for agency-wide succession planning and knowledge transfer.  

Minimum Qualifications

The successful applicant will have experience in planning and implementing a succession planning and/or knowledge transfer program. 

The position requires considerable knowledge or human resource management principles and practices, and demonstrated ability in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating human resource development and management programs. 

The successful candidate will have demonstrated his/her analytical ability by accurately identifying gaps in current and future staffing and staff skills in a complex, technical organization, and by accurately identifying the means to eliminate those disparities. 

S/he will have demonstrated the ability to build consensus among managers and supervisors regarding the content of new or changing programs, and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.  

Job Type: This is a restricted position which is solely funded by Indirect Cost Recovery Funds for a three year period ending June, 2015. The availability of funding will be reviewed annually, beginning January, 2013. Employment is contingent on the continued availability of grant or non-general funds.
