I have spent some time now looking for a good eLearning text to speech tool for narrating some of the course I am developing.
Have tried working through Amazon Polly, Google Wavenet. The voices are good but seem like a developer tool to get the right output. Have also tried AI text to speech with Wellsaidlabs but the plans seem really expensive.
Hi David! In case you didn't already know, if you have Articulate 360 you can convert text to speech right in Storyline 360. I also want to share these tips to make sure your TTS audio sounds as good as possible. I hope that helps!
Thanks Sarah, have tried those. My challenge is they are still a bit robotic. The ones I tried with Amazon and Google were good. But its not suitable for a simple user like me as many other features are missing

Thanks for letting me know, David! I'm curious what other tools folks in the community are using for text to speech solutions.
Tom Kuhlmann shared this blog post a little while back that includes a recommendation. There are some additional ideas in the comments as well.
Hi David,
These are the options for generating good voice over or text to speech.
Personally, I am using and would recommend Murf AI. It's easy to use, has low pricing, and the collection of the voices is really good.
Haha! Can't believe I just got Rick Rolled...
