An easy solution to this is to put your video and text animation into different layers, which enables you to switch them on and off independently of each other.
In this simple example, what I have done is to play a video when the button is pressed and then show the text layer after the video has been playing for 5 seconds. Another 5 seconds passes and the text layer disappears again.
Alternatively, you can put both on the same layer and simply control the appearance of your text, whether static or animated, through the timeline.
