System Simulation for Old Keystroke Driven system

Jul 30, 2017

Hi, I am a new user of Articulate and the software is great. I am attempting to create a system simulation, however the system we use is pretty old and is driven by menu options where keystroke are entered instead of mouse clicks. Recording the screen resulted in 2 slides, one of the video and a all white "type" slide with text of my keystrokes. How can I go about creating a system simulation in this type of environment. I have attached a screen capture.

Hi

Because its the blue screen you could probably easily recreate the screens to look like you want with a blue background and text boxes (depends how patient you are too!).

In the example I have attached I have used your screen shot  and added a text entry box.

I set a trigger

to Jump to slide 1.2 when user presses enter on text entry box if the text equals <1>

to Jump to slide 1.3 when user presses enter on text entry box if the text equals <2>

I have included a screen shot of the trigger as well.  Its a lot of work but.  You can copy the triggers and can them accordingly.

i hope this helps.
