Take a picture within course

Jul 08, 2019

Anybody know an easy way to give the user the ability to take a picture within a course?  The picture needs to be saved for access later.

My idea is to organize a game with my students using storyline. They will follow a story with the e-learning and some times during the story they must take a picture for example of a type of flowers in the garden of the school. After this exercice, we return all together in the classroom to debrief the exercice and check the picture they have taken and to finish the lecture. So I need in Storyline between to slide to give the opportunity to take a picture and to store this picture on a google drive for instance to check the results in class altogether.

Thanks in advance for your help

I don't have time to play today.

However, I think you could get a screenshot by using a javascript library (may need you to edit the story.html to add in a div to define the screenshot). Convert that to base64 and store in a storyline variable. You could then send that to a web object later in the course.

Would need some research and not too easy (hopefully someone has already done it).
