I have a video loaded to Storyline 360. The video is controled by the user. When video reaches 20 seconds, I need some text to display for about 5 seconds. Can anyone suggest the best way of doing this? I need it set to the video timeline, not the slide time line.
In the attached file I have placed a button on the base layer that the user can select in order to play the video.
The video and text are on two separate layers, which enable the text layer to be shown when the video timeline reaches a set point (I have used 5 seconds in the example as I have only used a short video) and the text layer is then hidden again once its timeline (which I have also set to 5 seconds) completes.

Hi gazzman g,

Hope this helps.
Hi Ned,
Good idea,I like it. I started playing with variables and missed the KISS factor. Will let you know how i get on. Thanks very much for the advice.
Glad to be of assistance.
Don't worry, I headed off down the variable path on this one to start with and then suddenly realised there was a simpler solution. It's easily done !
