Text Entry controlling a state

Hi All,

I have recently started using Articulate Storyline 3 and have become a little stuck.

I am looking to create a text entry field to allow learners to input say something like a D.O.B and once they have finished typing for that to trigger a state change.

I appreciate I can get it to change state once you click outside the text entry box but is it possible to setup without needing that additional click? A keystroke trigger is also not possible as this may have duplicating numbers involved in the D.O.B example.
