We see in the newest "Amazing Features in Articulate 360" article that Articulate has added text-to-speech. Any word whether this update also applies to SL3? If not yet, do we have a timeline for when it might come to SL3?
And what of the other upgrades that 360 now has added? Will SL3 see any of those cool features?
Will we see any of these features in SL3? Probably not.
Basically, part of what you get with 360's subscription pricing is access to new features as they become available. At some future point in time, & assuming Articulate doesn't ditch the purchased license model altogether, the features available now to SL 360 users would be released in a new version of StoryLine (presumably StoryLine 4) and available to purchase through a license upgrade at that time.
