The glossary in Storyline 2

Jan 26, 2016

Hello everyone,

I'm a long time stalker of these forums but this is my first post.

I have a question regarding the glossary in Storyline 2. I am currently building a course for a Swedish company and they want to use the built-in glossary in Storyline 2.

My problem is that when I have entered the Words in the glossary, they aren't shown in alphabetical order. For example, Words starting with the letter "Ä" falls under the Words starting with the letter "A". Is there any way I can fix this?

I have the language for the text labels in my player to be set to Swedish but maybe that doesn't have anything to do with it.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can solve my problem?

Fredrik. I'm not sure what the behind-the-scenes code uses for alphabetizing but I would assume that language won't have any affect.

I have a small hack that might help. You can put a space in front of the Ä letters and they will appear before the A letters. It will bother those of us with OCD in a visual formatting sense but it addresses the OCDs that need order to the words.

That doesn't help you with any other letters that may have umlauts but it will fix the A.
